Native of Augusta, Georgia, USA. Married to Melany (Eads), three children, and four grand children. Graduate of Memphis School of Preaching; Southern Christian University, (B.A).
Has preached for thirty-two years. Has served as evangelist with churches in Georgia, Alabama, Texas. Participated in many missionary campaigns. Director of four missionary campaigns to the island of Jamaica; three campaigns to Asmara, Eritrea, East Africa. Written weekly newspaper articles, spoken on daily radio program for four years in Georgia. Has preached in many States and eleven foreign countries, worked in the mission fields of Georgia (USA), Jamaica, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Eritrea and Nigeria in Africa, and has preached in Australia, Germany, and the Bahamas. Has labored for twenty years as a missionary to Indonesia, and founded the Southern Sumatra Bible College, in Sumatra, Indonesia in 1989, and in 2005 become a full time instructor international with the Fishers of Men evangelism training program.
